What we are currently doing:
Our staff are all clear about the role they play in limiting the spread of this virus and are using best practices when it comes to regular hand washing, the use of hand sanitiser and other recommended hygiene practices. They are also committed to staying home in the event that they feel at all sick.
In addition, they will also be making some slight modifications to the way they present the sessions. For example:
- Ensuring students are sitting at least 1.5 metres away from the stage, during the presentation
- Sanitising stations on side of stage for participants to sanitise hands prior to walking on stage and on the way off stage
- Presenters will spray particpants hands with sanitiser if there is no room for the stations as they walk up to and from the stage area
- Not engaging in unnecessary physical contact, such as high-fives only elbow bumps and fist pumps
