Doesn’t every child deserve their chance to shine…

A not-for profit program run by Eco Avengers Foundation

The Mission

Our founder Cindy Paterson witnesses first-hand children and families doing it tough. She hears the stories and sees the anguish that events such as formals create for families living in poverty. Her ongoing work and relationship with The Smith Family has highlighted statistics such as: 1.1M Australian children and young people are living below the poverty line. These statistics are extremely concerning, and for a mother and business owner she wanted to help make a change and a difference to these children's lives.

So she decided to do just that… and Full Circle Formals was created!

With a vision to roll this program Australia wide by 2021.

We want to team up with other charity organisations, seamstresses, fashion schools, dry cleaning services, shoe suppliers and beauty services to be able to offer underprivileged teenagers their chance to attend their high school formals stress free.

Working together we will be able to provide these children an opportunity that they never thought possible.

For some they will never be able to afford a dress or a suit to attend their school formal with their peers; being too embarrassed to go as they know that others may look and judge.

Even though we are true believers in inner beauty, we just want to give these children the extra confidence and self appreciation we know they have inside by providing them an outfit that lets their personality shine.

2021 brings hope of partnering with businesses

How it works

FCF appeals to the public via schools, social media and PR channels to create conversation and donations. Drop off points will be at participating schools and local businesses. Our volunteer teams will collect the gowns and suits on a nominated day.

2021 brings hope of partnering with businesses that can collect or cover postage if outside of SE QLD (Toowoomba to Coolangatta to South Sunshine Coast) then across Australia by 2022.

The Salvation Army (Salvos stores) have come onboard in being able to provide us with donated formal wear. Working with the local Salvos stores is amazing as this has provided us the opportunity to collect 1 female and 1 male garment per month/fortnight from local participating Salvo Stores.
